JCC Training Program for the Oracle Rdb Technical Forums

At  Rdb Technical Forums, JCC offers training whenever the schedule permits.  The European forums are complete for 2010. There will be other Forums, but the schedules are not yet announced. We welcome your input for training that you would like to see at the remaining Forums.

The one day JCC LogMIner Loader Workshop will be available at most Forums. Other training will be described as the schedule is determined.

This no-charge, one-day workshop will present a comprehensive view of the JCC LogMiner Loader , including how to install, configure, and use the Loader. This workshop is designed expressly to complement the Forum. 

You are likely to hear a number of people attending the Forum discussing the LogMiner Loader. You may be surprised by the variety of ways that it is being applied. Uses include:

• Synchronizing an Oracle data warehouse to an Rdb database
• Roll-up multiple source databases into a single target
• Replicate Rdb database to multiple targets to provide scalable web access
• Replay workloads to measure performance of Hot Standby configurations
• Provide multiple targets to enhance disaster recovery options
• Replicate data to off-load the impact of reporting and ad hoc querying
